Personal

Art

My passion is art. I've painted with my grandmother since I was little and can lose myself in my drawings for hours. I minored in Fine Arts while getting my BA and fell absolutely in love with pastels and vellum. I believe that art can educate and help people and that art should be for a purpose, not just to hang over a couch or in a stuffy gallery. That is why I adore street art and graphic novels so much. I've also recently taken to digital photography. See my work.

Crafts

I sew, quilt, embroider, stamp, paint, etc. You name a craft and I've probably done it. I love to make cards and gifts for people and find using my hands and getting messy to be very therapeutic. See my work.

Running

What used to be just a way to get in shape for playing sports has now become a passion of mine. I am now in my second season as a real runner and am loving it - especially as I keep PRing. I owe all my great progress to the Endurance Fitness Systems running and triathlon team where I am coached by the awesome Jason Paginelli and Ben Mattson and spurred on each week by my great teammates.

The Outdoors

I grew up in the country with animals and land to roam around on. While I live in the city now, I still hike and camp every chance I get and really crave a campfire by a stream when I'm under stress.
